For me this also included running farms and smallholdings as a workplace and a training opportunity for the adults with a learning disability. 66, Retired

Hello, my name is Andrew and I live in Banchory in Scotland. I have worked all my life for a charity - the Camphill Communities - that provides a home and purposeful work for adults with a learning disability. For me this also included running farms and smallholdings as a workplace and a training opportunity for the adults with a learning disability. I have a great deal of experience with a variety of farm animals; dairy cows, beef cattle and calves, sheep and goats, pigs, hens and geese and our family always had pets - dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs.
I have recently retired and have an active lifestyle. I enjoy mountain walking, running and cycling. I volunteer for several local conservation groups - the John Muir Trust, the Scottish Wildlife Trust, the Cairngorms National Park and a local charity that is setting up a healthy lifestyle and well-being project (the Compass Project in Aberdeen).
I am reliable, conscientious and trustworthy and good with animals, so you can leave your house and pets with me with confidence and peace of mind. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I have had 4 Covid jabs. As I am no longer working, I am flexible with my time.
Because of the costs involved in travelling to house-sits, I only do house-sittings in Scotland.
Feel free to get in touch. I would be happy to speak to you on a Whatsapp video call or on Zoom.

He arrived a couple of days early so that we could run through all the procedures. He was very competent from the start & we felt reassured & happy to leave Lucy in his care. We had regular updates which was very reassuring & meant we could relax & enjoy our holiday that wee bit more. Our house was immaculate when we returned & the dog in ... MORE

Andrew was a fantastic house sitter.. couldn't of asked for anything more. Struan was very well looked after and we felt completely at ease knowing Andrew was staying in the house and looking after Struan. Would highly recommend Andrew for any house sit. 5💫
