I have worked all my life for a charity - the Camphill Communities - that provides a home and purposeful work for adults with a learning disability. For me this also included running farms and smallholdings as a workplace and a training opportunity for the adults with a learning disability. I have a great deal of experience with a variety of farm animals; dairy cows, beef cattle and calves, sheep and goats, pigs, hens and geese and our family always had pets - dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs.

Hello, my name is Andrew and I live in Banchory in Scotland.
I have recently retired and have an active lifestyle. I enjoy mountain walking, running and cycling. I volunteer for several local conservation groups - the John Muir Trust, the Scottish Wildlife Trust, the Cairngorms National Park and a local charity that is setting up a healthy lifestyle and well-being project (the Compass Project in Aberdeen).
I am reliable, conscientious and trustworthy and good with animals, so you can leave your house and pets with me with confidence and peace of mind. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I have had 4 Covid jabs. As I am no longer working, I am flexible with my time.
Because of the costs involved in travelling to house-sits, I only do house-sittings in Scotland.
Feel free to get in touch. I would be happy to speak to you on a Whatsapp video call or on Zoom.
