Hi, I'm looking for house sits alone and house sits with cat care.
I am retired from my social work career then co-running a luxury B & B, so I have plenty of flexibility around your dates.
I'm a mother of two adult daughters, one has severe learning disabilities and lives in supported living. The other is married with three beautiful children, who I'm so proud of.
I live in retirement accommodation, so no pets allowed, it will be lovely to spend some time with yours 😃. I enjoy exploring new areas, getting out into the countryside and along a coastline, however my priority will be to ensure your cat/s is well looked after, and I will respect and take care of your home during my stay. I am a non smoker.. I can only manage sits where the cat/s has own sleeping area outside of the bedroom I will sleep in.
I am really enjoying house sitting, it’s been great to meet lovely people and cats in areas that are new to me. I've found that long sits don't suit me due to family commitments near home, the maximum time I'll consider is now one week or thereabouts.
My first sit was for a friend who says “Gillian has been a house sitter for me, looking after my home, plants, garden and most importantly my cat. She is reliable, totally trustworthy and diligent. I can recommend her as a mature, sensible and kind home carer. “.
Gillian was a fantastic sitter. Communications were clear and timely and on meeting in person, we knew everything would be more than fine.
Happy fur babies and clean home on our return... what more can you ask.

We were delighted to have Gillian as our sitter when we embarked on a cruise. Our cat is very independent and elderly but developed a relationship with her new 'auntie'.;
Gillian sent us regular messages and pictures of Missey, which we very much appreciated.

Gillian was very reliable and kept in contact throughout the sit. Our house was very clean and tidy on our return and the cats very happy and relaxed. Gillian made sure our return home was easy by changing beds and doing laundry. She was friendly and trustworthy. I definitely recommend her as a house/pet sitter.
It was lovely having Gillian look after my fur babies whilst away. The house and kitties were well looked after and would definitely recommend Gillian for any future pet sits.
Never posted a negative review, but sitter left the day after we left for our one-week holiday. Unable to comment or recommend.

Gillian looked after my home and allotment very well. The house was spotless when I got home. It was lovely that Gillian got a lot of pleasure from the area I live in. Thanks to her care in watering my allotment I am reaping a good harvest of vegetables and flowers. Highly recommend.
Was so lovely to meet Gillian the night before I went away. Wonderful conversation. I loved the fact Gillian sent photos of my cats whilst I was away, showing how contented they were. Gillian really looked after the place, and I think enjoyed investigating the local areas. Would definitely recommend her to look after your house and pets. 😊😊
Gillian was fantastic, she was easy to communicate with and we felt happy leaving Kwagga in her care. She left the house spotlessly clean, Kwagga seemed relaxed and happy. Throughout the week she kept up up to date with lovely messages and photos of Kwagga. We would definitely have Gillian sit for us again!
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
