Gill & Will

Here we are, both retired homeowners who would like to spend a few months in north London from the start of March (ish) '25. We've owned cats and dogs (Will's father was a shepherd and he grew up with border collies). We are very competent home owners who have a great deal of common sense when it comes to things breaking down, boilers getting low on water or plugs getting blocked up, so your house will be safe with us. We don't need a long term swop but one or several weeks here and there would be ideal. Some of that time it might just be myself (Gill) though Will will be available to me and will certainly be with me if it's a dog I'm looking after.

We're married and have a daughter in Tufnell Park/Kentish town. We're fit, cycle all over the place and are keen gardeners. We've had our own house sitters over the years, before the demise of our last cat. They've been young and broke, which we are not, but renting a flat in London for a few months isn't really our idea of comfort. We're careful and considerate and could contribute towards bills as well as look after the place if necessary. We're both addicted to beauty, low noise and preferably nice views. We live in North Somerset, deep in the country, with a huge garden so swop would probably also be a possibility.
