Geoff & Marie were the perfect house sitters. From the outset their communication was quick and helpful. They understood what was required and what we needed.
Naturally they looked after Misty & Dougie out two cats really well, no complaints from us or the cats!
But they also were exemplary guests, looked after our house perfectly and left it in immaculate order top to bottom.

Geoff and Marie had sat for us earlier in the year and we were so pleased they could return. They look aftered our dog Lola very well, sending us periodic photos on walks. They left our house very clean and tidy. Geoff and Marie are responsible people and we are very happy to recommend them for your home and pets.

I felt very let down by this housesit. Despite having an initial video call to discuss Elsa, her routine, walks, food, and separation anxiety I got the impression that this housesit was more to do with them wanting to be in the area with a view to living locally & that my dog was incidental to this. Getting her name (and sex!) wrong didn't help
On the day I returned (flying to H/row after a week of delays, IT outages, then a 4 hour drive home) they texted a friend of mine to say they were ... MOREI felt very let down by this housesit. When asked when they'd be back, the reply was they were not … they were going to their next sit! My dog would have been left for 6.5 hrs if my friend hadn't come and picked her up & fed her.
G&M have exc reviews previously. I hope once they are settled that will, again, be the case.

We were fortunate to have had the most wonderful house sitters, Geoff and Marie. They cared for our home with the same love and respect as if it were their own. With their attention to detail and thoughtful communication, they put our minds at ease, as it was our first-time having house sitters. Geoff and Marie were brilliant. It was the first time we've used House Sitters and we were incredibly impressed. Communication before the sit and then during was great, Simba was clearly well looked after and the house was spotless when we arrived back - it was actually cleaner than we'd left it. Would highly recommend Geoff and Marie.

Although a short pet sitting. I was delighted that Geoff and Marie could stay and look after my 4 cats. They are a wonderful and thrustworthy couple. The house was spotless on our return and pets well looked after. I highly recommend them.

I can highly recommend Geoff and Marie. Indeed we were very lucky to find them! They house sat for just over 2 weeks, primarily to look after our 14 year old Labrador. Communication prior, and during the house sit, was excellent with Geoff and Marie sending us photos of our Labrador which was so appreciated as we missed him so much. Trustworthy and reliable, with our home. Kind and patient with Hector, walking him and showing him such care and attention. We had never had house sitters ... Geoff and Marie joined us the evening before we left - a chance to meet properly, and explain all sorts of things about the house, and to introduce them to our nearest neighbours.
Communication was good and prompt from the moment we accepted the sit. They took very good care of the house and our chickens, duck, and tortoises.
The house was left immaculate for our return and Marie had even prepared some soup for us, knowing that we had been travelling for nearly 24 hours.

Geoff and Marie are the best Housesitters you could have. They were a joy to meet and our dog took to them instantly. We got messages while we were away that all was well at home. Our place was well looked aftered and super clean when we got back, with lots of kindnesses like laundering the bedlinen. We will be really pleased to have them house sit again and highly recommend to others.

Geoff and Maria were the perfect house sitters. Communication prior during and after the sit has been brilliant. They treated our house with the upmost respect and it was immaculate when we returned. The care they provided to our dog was brilliant and he seems very happy to have been able to stay at home during the holidays. I would highly recommend Geoff and Marie and wish them well in their future stays.

We consider ourselves so lucky to have had such brilliant housesitters as Geoff and Marie. They are a lovely, friendly, caring and totally trustworthy couple who looked after everything with great care and dedication. We returned from six weeks away to find a spotlessly clean house (far cleaner than we left it !) all our VERY numerous plants , both inside and out, flourishing and a very contented and relaxed kitty cat , They went way beyond the call of duty in many ways including sweeping ... MOREWe consider ourselves so lucky to have had such brilliant housesitters as Geoff and Marie. They are a lovely, friendly, caring and totally trustworthy couple who looked after everything with great care and dedication. We returned from six weeks away to find a spotlessly clean house (far cleaner than we left it !) all our VERY numerous plants , both inside and out, flourishing and a very contented and relaxed kitty cat , They went way beyond the call of duty in many ways including sweeping the endless number of autumn leaves on terrace and lawns . Many messages and photos kept us in constant touch . We had complete peace of mind knowing that everything was in safe and sensible hands. Geoff and Marie looked after our house and dog Daisy in August 2023. We’d never used housesitters before but we couldn’t have been happier and would thoroughly recommend them! They kept us informed with regular pictures and updates, the house was incredibly clean and tidy when we returned and I’m sure Daisy was very sad to see them go! Thanks!

We certainly struck gold with Geoff and Marie. We overlapped for a night and got to introduce them to the different creatures and share a meal. We have returned to a house that is sparkling clean and welcoming, freshly made delicious custard tart in the fridge, and parakeets and hens who have clearly been cared for in every way we could have hoped. for. The lineolated parakeets are clearly missing Geoff and Marie, and all their loving attention -= very full of bens indeed. A massive thank you ... MOREWe certainly struck gold with Geoff and Marie. This was our first house sitter and it was a huge success. Geoff and Marie were the perfect house sitters, great communication and left the house immaculate. I am sorry to say I don’t think it has ever been so clean nor will it be again!
Sent us lovely photos and videos of our dog which was so reassuring. They have set the bar very high for any next house sitters and we would love them to sit for us again.

Totally perfect house sitters. Geoff and Marie communicated excellently, arrived on time, are a lovely couple. They spent the night before our holiday with us and also the night that we got back. Marie was the perfect guest in our house. She kept in touch just the right amount and made us feel extremely happy and content whilst being overseas.
She responded to all my messages straight away and left the house in a better state than when we left it.
The Dogs didn't even seem excited when we got home which obviously means they loved having Marie take care of them.
