A dear friend of mine told me about house sitting several years ago and I joined him and his wife at a long term sit in La Gomera in the Canary Islands and it opened my eyes to this wonderful offering.

I live in Upper Beeding, a small village on the South Downs Way about half an hour from Brighton. I have a car.

Ann-Marie was a pleasure to get to know and from the moment the house sit was set up she was interested in all relevant details. Sadly our elderly cat Layla passed away a few days before the sit. We were more than happy for Ann-Marie to still look after the house for us. During the sit she was always approachable and kept in contact. This was our first time using house sitters Uk and I can honestly say Ann Marie has made it a pleasure. We were away for over 3 weeks and it felt so good leaving the house and our dog in a safe reliable pair of hands. Ann-Marie is great - very good at communicating, the house was as I left it on my return and a happy dog welcomed me back. One couldn't ask for more. She stayed in my house over Christmas for a week, allowing me to visit family who don't live near, and managed expertly. Definitely recommend.
It has been a delight to meet Ann-Marie. She was wonderful with the dogs who loved her on sight. She adapted well to the house and looked after everything beautifully. She extended her stay to accomodate our change of plans which was so kind, and seemed to enjoy being here which is always gratifying! I feel very lucky that Ann Marie offered to come and take care of my old cat and home at quite short notice.
I needed to leave late morning so Ann Marie left her home at 7am in order to get to me before I left!
We managed to chat through everything and I was able to leave in complete confidence
I arrived home to a very contented cat and lovely clean house.

Anne-Marie was an excellent house-sitter and looked after Prince and Barney for us really well. They were very happy dogs when we got back. The house was just as we left it - clean and tidy. Communication was very good. We would happily recommend Anne-Marie as a house-sitter and hope she will come back to look after our boys again.
Ann-Marie was great and has restored my confidence after a couple of bad experiences. I was unsure of the date I would be able to leave and she came at very short notice and was completely flexible.
