We're a mature, reliable and responsible couple available to house/pet sit from various dates in 2024, from May to October. We are mixed nationality (English and New Zealand) but we don't hold that against each other!
We own our own home which, at times, we have had to relinquish to the care of strangers, so we understand completely the importance of being truthfully able to say, We will care for your home as if it was our own'.
Our current lifestyle does not allow for pets but in the past we have collectively or individually owned and cared for much loved animals, including cats, dogs, a budgie, chickens, rabbits, and a donkey (but not all at once!).
We can provide references from the UK and New Zealand, for both animal and house care. If there is a problem with your pet while you are away I can guarantee firstly that we will not panic and, secondly, we will calmly and sensibly work through all the avenues until the problem is sorted.
We love walking and hiking so we relish the prospect of house sitting in places we can enjoy local walking and scenery, but we are equally happy exploring a new city or town.
