Hi there!
Thank you for stopping by my profile! My name is Abbey, a 26 year old female, from Perth in Western Australia. I am a qualified teacher who is having a year off to explore the many wonders of the world, including the UK and Europe. I will be in the UK from late September, until mid December, so I am quite flexible in terms of location and dates.

Whilst I have not done any house-sitting jobs on this website, I have had a fair bit of housesitting experience through friends and family in Perth. Growing up, I was lucky enough to care for various pets including dogs (a Labrador lover!), cats, rabbits and birds, and have my own cat Ralph. I love spending time with animals- getting to know their unique personality, and providing comfort and company.
I also enjoy spending time outside and getting my hands dirty, so tending to gardens is definitely something I'm open to. I am a very clean and conscientious person, and always treat my surroundings like they are my own.

In my down time I love to get outside and explore the local area, through taking walks or going for a jog. I also really enjoy reading and cooking. I have spent a considerable time in Country WA working on farms, and through this have gained practical skills, independence and the ability to manage all sorts of situations. Whilst I am an independent person who is content in my own company, I am also social and love getting to know new people.

As I wont have a car during my UK stay, I will need to be within walking distance (<5km) to local amenities such as grocery stores, and access to public transport would be ideal!
