Tidy, responsible, experienced and caring single lady sitter who comes from big family with lots of pets and keen gardeners! In my early 40s and have now house-pet sat for more than 50 animals and dealt with most situations!
I am a calm, trusted and capable sitter who is old and wise enough to handle anything, I have house sit for family and friends for 10+ years, taking care of poorly dogs and cats and managing gardens of all sizes and requirements across the UK and joined this site less than a year ago on recommendation. I have multiple references available alongside my reviews so please ask. I work remotely part time so I’m always around to care, play and cuddle and basically be there for your pet as needed. I enjoy walks, culture, history and cooking.
I am looking for friendly homes who want a safe pair of hands that can manage any needs and ensure peace of mind while away. I have asked a few owners if my mother who has also had pets most of her life may join me for a short stay while on sits, as she is caring and loves animals too so you get double the wisdom on occasion if that suits! Not essential but good to mention upfront incase it works.
I work in communications so I am considerate and respect ability to be able to notify you or handle issues as needed. Genuinely like to keep a tidy house so always want to know where the vacuum is ;-) I look forward to chatting more.

Delia was perfect in every way as a house sitter - the house was left spotless and she looked after our two cats so well (they didn’t even seem bothered that we were gone). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind person to look after their home and fur babies.

Delia is welcome here any time at all. She was excellent with our blind dog, Maisie, and the house was as if we’d never left it on coming home. We already have her booked in for another trip and will keep in touch.
What an amazing find! Both Izzy and I were extremely impressed with Delia and she was the perfect sitter. I was lucky enough to be able to meet up with Delia the day before and after my holiday so could introduce her to Izzy and knew straight away that they were a perfect fit. And upon my return, I could see that Izzy had been thoroughly slaved after. My home was immaculate and garden flourishing.

I cannot recommend Delia enough. She was so caring contentious of Gemma my four legged sensitive J.R soul mate. She left my place immaculate which is also a much appreciated bonus. She was very attentive to not leaving Gemma for handovers. Communication was easy and clear. I arrived to a calm relaxed happy Gemma. She put her trust in Gemma to show her the local walks so they could enjoy their time together. And was very perceptive to her needs. I am very grateful for her loving care of Gemma.
Delia was the perfect choice to look after our cat and home. She instantly took all the household and pet instructions on board. She kept in touch with us daily by text and photos which was very reassuring. We returned home to a very contented cat and a beautifully clean and tidy house. Delia is absolutely lovely and we couldn’t recommend her more highly! We felt very happy knowing she was looking after our house and cat. Communication was easy and Delia was very flexible about arriving to meet us before we left. We came home to a happy cat and a spotless house, with clean bed linen left on the bed.
