Hello! We're available for house sits in central Scotland in late July/August 2025, thanks for checking us out!

We are Janet and Scott, semi-retired IT professionals who to love to travel and experience new places whilst having some furry companionship.

Our flexible lifestyle means that through house sitting we can help owners to have their home safely looked after while they are away, and also look after their pets in their own environment.

Originally from the UK, we emigrated to Australia in 2004 and have completed over 30 housesits.

We're a married couple who've been together for over 25 years and previously had long term professional careers in the IT industry. Janet still works remotely, part time from home as an analyst.

Neither of us smoke and we have no dependents or pets.

WHY HOUSE SITTING

House sitting allows us to give home owners the peace of mind while they are away that their precious home and pets are being looked after. We enjoy the experience of discovering other parts of the country and the world, and we love animals, so house sitting is the perfect fit for us.

We started house-sitting in 2017 as a way to travel around Australia for a few months and then found we love the lifestyle! When not in Australia, we spend part of the year overseas in Spain where we have a holiday home or in the UK where we have family.

We owned a rural property for many years in Australia and are experienced in looking after large properties. Scott is a great handyman who has renovated several of our properties, he enjoys carrying out odd jobs around the house. Having worked in IT support for many years he can also be handy for any technical queries!

We have lived in many places in the world - the UK, USA, Australia and Europe - and so are very used to living a nomadic lifestyle and experiencing different cultures.

Honest, friendly, reliable and trustworthy, we are also clean and tidy and take care of your home as though it is our own.

"We have two high-energy Australian Shepherds and a sassy cat. Janet and Scott engaged beautifully with our fur-babies and they were loved and very well cared for. We received frequent photos of "the girls" and also had a Skype session with our pets. In terms of our home, it was left perfectly clean and the lawns were mowed.
