Hi I’m Lucy, a theatre designer, puppeteer, and performer with a deep love for animals and nature. While I’m new to formal house sitting, I’ve always been drawn to animals and find joy in their unique personalities—whether they love cuddles or prefer a bit of space and quiet companionship.

I’m currently developing a project that connects young people with nature through artistic practices, and am spending a lot of my time writing funding bids, so I’ll be home most days. I’m naturally a calm, quiet person who enjoys yoga, meditation, and being in nature, so you can expect a peaceful and attentive presence for your furry friend.

I’m a non-smoker and love staying active with walking and running, so if your dog has a lot of energy, I’m happy to keep up and take them on long walks or runs.

I seem to have a natural connection with animals, especially cats—my friends call me the “cat whisperer” because they always seem to gravitate toward me! But no matter the pet, I’m happy to spend time with them in whatever way makes them feel comfortable, whether that’s playtime, walks, or simply knowing someone is there.

Your home and pets will be well cared for, and I’ll make sure everything is just as you left it when you return. I’m also more than happy to send updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
