I'm Joe, I'm originally from rural Somerset and lived in London for nine years before relocating to Glasgow in late 2023. I've been looking after pets through Housesitters UK since 2020 and have had some great experiences looking after lovely animals.

Kai, my partner, is originally from London, where she grew up in a dog family. She is particularly experienced with rescue dogs who need that little bit of extra support. She is also a cat lover and especially good with timid cats who take time to warm up to new people.

Together, we have ample experience with cats and dogs of all ages, varying needs and temperaments. We are also comfortable taking care of any specific dietary or medical needs that your pet may have.

Joe is very thoughtful and brought a quiet confidence to the sit which I really appreciated. He was really considerate of all the details around the place and sensitive to the animals which means they really took to him and were really well looked after. 2nd time having Joe and Kai babysitting for us and it was a breeze and easier as we are comfortable enough now leaving the babies in their care. Would definitely recommend them as they’re very chill and easy going. Our babies were also happy with them. Hopefully they would want to help us babysit again :).

Joe was very accommodating in meeting us the day before to run through things before watching about our fur babies. He was easy going and flexible, and would send regular updates which eases our minds. When we unfortunately had our flight cancelled last minute, Joe and Kai kindly accommodated by staying an extra night. The house was left clean, bedsheets, towels and cleaning cloths were washed. It was such a pleasure to meet Joe - he is very pleasant and calm, and I immediately felt that our house and dog would be in safe hands. Communication was excellent, nothing was any trouble, and the whole experience was very easy. I worried a bit that our dog, Daisy, would be a bit freaked out by being left with a 'stranger' - but she was absolutely fine - Joe obviously gave off good vibes to her! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Joe was really responsive in his communication right from initial message. He was flexible allowing us to tweak our dates. We have lots of different requirements for our cats and Joe was un-phased by the feeding regime and preparing medication. Updates throughout the stay were nice and clear. The house was spotless on our return. I would have no hesitation in recommending Joe or asking him to sit for us again ,
