Mark is a thoughtful, responsible, caring sitter who takes a strong, genuine interest in the differing needs and personalities of the animals he sits for. He is someone you can trust absolutely to take good care of both your pet and your home - he leaves your home extremely clean and tidy - and your dog extremely well exercised and well cared for. After this experience in November, I was delighted that Mark agreed to come back and look after Lucky again for a week in February 2022 and - from today - also for the whole month of April. I've never been away for such a long period, but can do so this time knowing that I am leaving Lucky in the safest of hands, and with someone who will give him all the exercise, love and attention I would wish for him in my absence.

Then, I received a message from Mark. Let me tell you I was crossing my fingers for him not to cancel on us. He didn’t. He let me know what time his train was. We could not have asked for more from Mark as a sitter. The house was spotless when we got home and Maggie was so comfortable in his company, clearly not missing us at all! We would not hesitate to recommend Mark for a future sit and we would be delighted to have him return.

Mark is an absolutely amazing pet sitter, we could not be happier with his care for our rescue dog Bella and the property in general. This is our first time using a pet sitter anc we were a bit nervous about the prospect but Mark put us all at ease straight away. We feel truly blessed that Mark reached out to us. The house was left in an immaculate condition for us on our return from holiday and Mark communicated well with us whilst we were away sending us great updates on how Bella was doing. ... If you need a sitter who is conscientious, caring, thoughtful and diligent Mark is exactly what you need.
We cannot recommend him enough, our rescue dog loves him and we always return to our extremely cleaned house to a dog who is happy, healthy and contented.
Mark communicated with us whilst we were away and sent us regular photos and updates of our pet.
He is most professional in his approach and in all that you ask of him.

We felt incredibly fortunate that Mark contacted us as he is very busy and in great demand - rightly so. After an initial conversation I felt reassured that our home and dog would be in good hands. Mark had a very good understanding of our border collie’s needs and patiently played ball and gave her a lot of attention. He sent photos regularly and responded immediately to any messages. Mark was really excellent. He looked after our animals, including a very nervous cat, with such care and dedication, and kept us updated throughout. He also cared for the house and garden very attentively -- it was clear when we got back that we had left everything in extremely capable hands. Mark looked after our beloved cat, Skye for us for nearly a month while we visited family in Australia. From the moment we FaceTimed we knew everything was going to be fine. We can't rate Mark highly enough. He had no qualms dealing with 5 ferrets, a python as well as the dog. Mark was amazing all round, excellent communication and housekeeping. We wouldn't think twice about asking him again to look after our menagerie!

Mark looked after my cat Bailey for two weeks during probably the most stressful period of my life due to a poorly parent about to have an op and to top it all, Bailey got into a fight and broke a tooth a couple of days before I was to leave so my stress levels were through the roof - that was till Mark turned up - he has a real calming effect and made me feel so comfortable leaving my fur baby with him. By the time I had to leave, I felt calm and positive about everything that had been going ... Mark is hugely experienced with housesitting and absolutely loves dogs so he's the perfect house and dogsitter who confidently walked our lurcher Nella off the lead and played and looked after her and even let her sleep in his bed. Mark is amazing and we would recommend him to anyone. He looked after our home and 2 dogs for nearly 4 weeks in July/August 2022. He is a bit of a dog whisperer and managed to calm our 2 year old collie cross and empower our slightly bullied 8 year old retriever. Everyone has noted how much calmer and happier they both seem and how clean and tidy our home is. We did not want him to leave as to top it all he is a kind, generous and very interesting man.

Mark was an unbelievable house and dog sitter, very calm and relaxed. He looked after our 10 year old rescue so well and sent regular updates and photos. I went on holiday having no worries at all. Our house was left tidier than when we left it.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in asking Mark to house and dog sit..he is 100% perfect.

Mark looked after our dog and house really well for 5 weeks. Our dog enjoyed her long walks with Mark and was fit and happy on our return. Mark watered the house plants and kept the house tidy. He is a good communicator and sent us messages periodically while we were away to say all was well. We would be very happy for Mark to house sit for us again and to recommend him to other home owners.

Mark looked after our home, pets and plants for the past 6 weeks. It was clear that the dogs really loved him, the communication was great before and during the house sit, he kept the flat so clean and tidy, and my plants have never looked so good! This was our first time using a house sitter and I did feel a little anxious beforehand, however it could not have gone better - mark was just great. We would definitely have him back and I highly highly recommend him!

Though Mark didn't have a car we were able to leave him a bike for his use.

Well what a lovely guy!
Never been comfortable letting people into my home before... however Mark was the most remarkable house sitter.
Communication from the start was excellent. His care and consideration to detail and my needs were exceptional. Updates were given throughout his stay for my peace of mind. I only wish I had left my dog with him for some training.

He came the day before we left so we could show him around and we went away feeling confident that the cats and our home were in good hands. When we got home the house was lovely and tidy and the cats and fish were all fine and cats seemed very happy. We would recommend Mark as a sitter and hope that he may come ... Mark took great care of my home and 2 cats for 2 months while I was away. He always kept me updated on the state of the garden and was extremely accommodating while people came around to view my house as it was up for sale at the time. He even got stuck weeding the garden. He took great care with my cats and I always felt assured that they were in safe hands.
The house was sparkling clean when I returned so I would certainly recommend Mark and invite him to house sit in the future.

He is a genuinely caring soul and obviously took the time an effort to connect with our cat who was happy and healthy on our return.

Mark came and house sat for us at fairly short notice and we're so glad he did. He did a wonderful job of looking after our beloved cat George and our home which was spotlessly clean and tidy when we got back.
He's a friendly guy and totally trustworthy, you can leave your home and pets in his care and have no worries at all.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark to anyone looking for a house sitter.
