I am a 26 year old female Australian who has recently moved to the UK and am primarily located in London but am willing to travel elsewhere depending on dates and availability. I am not currently working so would have plenty of time to devote to your companions while you are away.
I am extremely passionate about animal welfare and have devoted a great deal of my professional and personal life to the animal care industry.
I have grown up caring for family pets my whole life and received my Cert II in Animal studies in 2015. I have fostered 150+ animals (mainly cats & dogs) of all ages and medical/behavioural requirements for over 7 years. Additionally, I have experience working at an animal shelter from 2019-2024 in Australia where I cared for a variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, exotic and native birds, chicken, ducks, ponies/horses, cows, sheep & goats. Throughout my work I have completed training such as fear free shelter courses, canine and feline standards of care, and vaccination and blood taking of animals qualifications.
While living abroad in Canada at the start of 2024 I boarded many animals in my home through the website Rover, resulting in quite a few repeat customers and 5* reviews.

Madeline was charming, and a great sitter. She was kind enough to visit before the sit started to pick up the key and have a look around, and proved to be reliable, clean and communicative. My cat is often grumpy when I return from a trip, but was clearly very well looked after by Madeline as she was completely unfazed by my absence! I can recommend Madeline highly and would definitely ask her to sit again if she were in the country

Maddie was our first ever pet and house sitter, so it was kind of a big deal for us, but Maddie has been a joy to get to know and she took such great care of the house and the pets. Maddie came for a walk to get to know Luna prior to our holiday and arrived super early the following day so we could set off early for our trip.
