Even at short notice, for all sits I ask 26 GBP per day/ part-day (however, I ask for a minimum fee of 182 GBP for each sit, one to seven days). My rate is irrespective of distance (if under 90 miles) or number of animals in my care.
I have no pets of my own, few domestic commitments and no work commitments so I'm able to concentrate fully on my house-sitting. I have veterinary nursing experience and have worked on a farm as a farm labourer with livestock. I support Cats Protection and have been employed by the RSPCA. If you require a reference it will come from a lady who once owned a cattery in Greater Manchester and who's known me since 1982.
I have sat dogs, cats, horses and donkeys, cattle and sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and geese, gerbils, fish, tortoises and a snake. I don't have a criminal record. I am a non-smoker but don't mind those that do. If you have pets, I will spend most the time at home with them. Whilst I would be occupying your home and using a bedroom (bed already made-up) and bathroom, I will provide my own food, towels and toiletries - and will leave everything clean and tidy.

Rebecca did a fabulous job of taking care of our many farm animals. She had great communication letting us know that all is well back home which gave us peace of mind to relax and enjoy our first holiday away in 10 years. I would definitely recommend her and use her as a house sitter in the future.

Rebecca is just what we hoped for when it came to using House Sitters UK for the very first time.
She was incredibly flexible (both in coming out to visit beforehand and arriving the evening before her sit so that we could leave early the next morning.
Communication was brilliant, and the house was left in a lovely state for our return. Animals (3x dogs, 2x semi-feral cats and a flock of chickens & ducks) were cared for as if we were at home.
Would not hesitate to recommend Rebecca!

Rebecca came to house sit and look after our two cats whilst we were away.
We were in the middle of combining 3 houses into 1 but we managed to contain most of the "clutter", although I would do more about somethings in future.
We have CCTV internally and externally and were happy to switch off the internal cameras on her request.

Rebecca came to stay at relatively short notice to care for our 2 dogs at home whilst we were away on holiday. Communication was excellent and she made everything very easy, the paperwork she had prepared considers everything that you wouldn't normally think about.
Sadly my husband had a accident whilst we were away and couldn't return on our scheduled date. Rebecca very kindly offered to stay on till she was next due at her next house sit.

Rebecca communicated well throughout the booking process and whilst we were away. She cared for our dog Panda and our chickens, ducks, sheep and cows on site, sadly she was unable to check on our animals off site but that was due to the state of the roads! Thank you.
We have used Rebecca's dogsitting service twice now with another one booked. As we had a rescue dog we would not put him in kennels so this was the best plan and also have someone in our home keeping an eye on things. We had updates throughout our holiday, and she also cared for our tortoise when he came out of hibernation. We left a welcome pack with all details we thought would help for TV cooker, washer, microwave etc., directions for supermarkets.

Rebecca looked after our house, 5 dogs, 2 ponies and various poultry for four weeks in August and September this year.
While we were away she regularly updated and kept us informed which was very reassuring. When we returned home the animals looked in better condition than when we had left! We contacted Rebecca with only a few days notice before we were due to go away. We weren't very hopeful but, to our surprise Rebecca agreed to look after our 2 dogs and cat. She looked after our animals and house exceptionally. We will most definitely be calling Rebecca again. Lovely lady!
Rebecca did a great job of looking after my 2 cats and I had regular texts from her to let me know that they were fine and eating well. When I returned the house was spick and span and the garden was looking good (although I don't think much watering was required given all the rain!). I would not hesitate to recommend Rebecca.
Rebecca was our first ever house sitter. Archie our Labrador loved her and even our ginger Tom liked her (he is not fussed on many people!) I would not hesitate to recommend Rebecca. Our house and pets were well looked after.
