Now taking bookings for 2025, though already booked for a repeat sit for the month of August.

Prefer a minimum of a week because I enjoy bonding with your pets, getting to know your local area and enjoy writing.

Available for house/farm/island /remote sits. The city is not for me.

Preferences are for Scotland/Scottish Islands/Ireland/Somerset/ Cornwall however other areas considered.

A veteran of house-sits, I now have my own 1/4 acre block with chickens, fruit trees, food/ornamental and native plants.

Passionate about gardening/plants and happy to look after yours (even if you don't have animals!).

I am a fit, capable, practical and experienced person when it comes to animals in general, understanding their behaviour and bonding easily.
Have had 2 dogs in the past, both best friends.

Exotic pets considered.

Despite a sensitivity to animal dander, I can manage certain dog breeds (e.g. poodles/poodle X, some terriers) and happy to care for outdoor cats and dogs unless you have low allergen breeds.

My history includes a broad agricultural background and I can care for chickens/sheep/cattle /goats/ pigs/dogs and outdoor cats (happy to be challenged by the odd llama!).

My footprint will be light. I am clean and tidy and will respect your home the way I respect mine (happy to send photos for a reference).

I like to write and go for walks, spend time in nature or at the local village (meeting the locals) and enjoy prep/cook my own food.

I have a current Police Check (available to view) so not seeking site verification from this site

How lucky I was to find this wonderful woman ..she fitted in just perfectly to our fairly chaotic household and looked after everything..Torre the dog loved his twice daily walks and spending time with her in the garden..which she tended with loving care Magda kept in touch regularly with updates and handled the leak in my roof with speed and averted a major problem.. It was a pleasure meeting Magda and having her stay with me on and off throughout the summer. Piccolo was very happy and they went on many adventures together throughout Magda’s time in Edinburgh.
