Stan and Elaine were amazing. Our first time using sitters has proved to be a very positive experience. They are very friendly and highly reliable and obliging. They looked after our house, 2 cats and a dog plus a large garden in a heatwave! On our return the garden was well tended and pets happy and healthy. Communication was great and bedding was washed and on the line when we got back. Elaine even made up my daughter's bed so we didn't have to do it after a long journey home. All in all it ... Elaine & Stan looked after our house and cat during our holiday. This was our first time using sitters and we had such a great experience. The house was immaculate when we returned and Elaine had washed all their bedding. Despite being away during the hottest week, the plants and garden had been well watered and looked after. Stan and Elaine were lovely house sitters who kept the house and garden well and left it very clean. They were unfazed by the "extra" menagerie that required feeding (foxes and hedgehogs) despite not knowing about them in advance. We always like it when house sitters and visitors appreciate our unique place - we think we are very lucky and are happy to share that. Thank you.

Elaine and Stan house sat for me during October 2021 and things couldn't have gone better. Their speedy and cheerful response to communications prior to the sit meant I was confident that all would go well during my absence and their regular text updates during my holiday meant I could fully relax! They looked after the house beautifully and it was immaculate on my return. They also made good friends with my cat, Tom, who was very well looked after. All in all, they were excellent house ... Stanley and Elaine looked after our house and 2 Jack Russell terriers for 10 days. They are a lovely friendly couple and arrived the night before our departure to facilitate an organised "hand-over". This also gave us time to get to know them better and when we departed on holiday the next morning we felt totally at ease that the house was in the hands of professionals, and the house and dogs would be well cared for. When we returned the place was in tip-top condition. Stanley and Elaine were the perfect house-sitters and we would recommend them unreservedly. We definitely hope to have them back again.

Stan and Elaine looked after our house and cat for three weeks in July/August 2018. Good communication before the sit, there were no problems during the sit - we exchanged emails half-way through - and we found the house in immaculate condition on our return. Our very shy rescue cat loved Stan to bits, which is extremely unusual - she is normally scared of strangers. We will definitely ask Stan and Elaine if they are free to sit for us again next summer holidays

Stanley and Elaine are just the most wonderful, warm and kind couple, and we feel so blessed that we found them. They went above and beyond anything we asked of them whilst we were away, including gardening and dealing with contractors. Our advert was a last minute request for a 3 month sit, there were boxes in some of the rooms that we hadn't had time to unpack and the heating was temperamental but they never complained and even took the time to make the house look more comfortable for when we ... As animal lovers they looked after our fish and the local wildlife (we have now inherited Cyril the squirrel from them, who comes to our door everyday for monkey nuts). We don't think we could more strongly recommend Stanley and Elaine. They provide peace of mind that your house is being very well looked after.

Elaine and Stan looked after our house and wee dog, they are both very friendly and outgoing people who immediately put you at ease that your home and pets will be well cared for. They are very practical and our home was just perfect for our return, Stan had mown our lawns and sorted any small jobs that cropped up. We have absolutely no reservation in recommending them as house sitters and consider ourselves luck to have met them and have them in our home.

Elaine and Stanley were the perfect house sitters. Stanley undertook a few odd jobs whilst we were away. We returned from a two week break to a clean home, three content cats and a lovely cup of tea after our long journey. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would welcome them back to house sit in the future.

Elaine and Stan are the best housesitters we've had so far. Our cat was well looked after and she even got some toys from Elaine and Stan:) When we came back, the house was spotless clean. We had peace of mind during our holiday and I have no hesitation in recommending that you trust Elaine and Stan with your house and your beloved pets. We did and we are very thankful!

We can highly recommend Stan and Elaine. They dog sat at our cottage for us during a short trip abroad. A lovely couple whom we were very confident in looking after our rather excitable dogs.
