My name is Helen and I am a palliative care clinical nurse specialist, my husband is John and he is a retail business manager for a national bar and restaurant company. We live in the North East and are both hard working professionals and looking to help out and look after other homes, pets and plants and explore different areas of our beautiful country, whilst you can take comfort knowing your home is being well looked after and pets and plants lovingly cared for. We have one daughter who has just started her first full time job with the ambulance service.

Helen and John were perfect housesitters, and I felt totally happy leaving Archie and Wiffle in their care. They sent updates and photos whilst I was away, and the house and garden looked lovely when I returned, I would definitely invite them again!
Taking a leap of faith in entering the 'house sit' route we can only say "Best thing we've done" Early communication with Helen was extremely good and re-assuring & on meeting both we were very happy in our choice. Such a lovely couple, being calm, quietly spoken (good around the animals) and listened to what we were requesting. Helen and John were absolutely fantastic. We hit it off with them immediately. They looked after our cats Romulus and Remus and our home with love and care. They are a very calm and relaxed couple which suited the boys and made them very happy and relaxed with them. We received regular updates and photos. The house was very clean and tidy on our return home.

From our first communication Helen was a delight to deal with, she provided a character reference promptly and I felt completely happy in the knowledge that she and John would take care of the house and dogs (they are dog owners themselves). They visited the day before the sitting to meet us and see the house and get the lie of the land, and of course to meet the dogs.
