As a householder myself, I am fully domesticated and used to being responsible and caring within a home (I even take my shoes off at the door, whatever the weather!). I have a garden that I have nurtured over the years and also grew vegetables in an allotment for many years.
While my son was growing up, we had a mongrel Patterdale rescue dog and love all animals with a firm but fair and affectionate manner. When needed, I happily walk dogs for neighbours, or feed cats.
I love to travel and visit different places when not co=ordinating Duke of Edinburgh expeditions for schools (usually this is concentrated between April and July). I conduct occasional Yoga therapy sessions via Zoom on my laptop, but mainly I intersperse walks with being a quiet reader and reflecting on life and humanity.
