Marc & Sarah

Hey there,
my partner Sarah and I are from Cologne, Germany and excited to get the chance to travel.
After being done with our bachelors degree it was the perfect time to break out and see the world. We went to New Zealand and started our travels with two pet/house sits in Auckland and Tauranga and many others followed.
Now we are back in Europe and would love to continue housesitting :)

Marc has always had at least one cat around him growing up. Mostly one big and lazy furrball in the past and currently an active and cuddly cat lady. Sarah has always been more of a dog person but we generally like animals with just a slight difference in our favorites. Over the past year we have looked after many cats and dogs, cows, sheep and horses.
Sitting a house and/or a pet gives us the opportunity to dive deeper into the life of the country we are visiting. Marc lived abroad in Lincoln, Nebraska for a semester and stayed with a hostfamily what made getting in contact with culture and it's traditions very easy. Housesitting can be similar, it transforms your experience from "visiting somewhere" to "living there" by giving our stay a purpose.
We always love a tidy place and never leave a home dirty and strive to pass it back to you cleaner or just as clean as before. Another ‘thing‘ of ours is our plant based lasagna. If you are interested we would love to connect and talk over some dinner after you are back. That’s not necessary of course but we have enjoyed it in the past :)
