Hi,
I’ve recently completed my PhD in the medical field and, while I await the start of my new job in January, I have time to care for your home and pet(s).
After gaining some wonderful references from the sits I’ve done this year, I feel it’s now fair to charge for my services, especially during this busy holiday season. With Christmas just around the corner, I know it can be a challenging time with lots to organise, and I’d love to help make things easier for you.
As my family is based in South Africa, and having recently moved to London from Newcastle, I’ll be spending Christmas here in Wimbledon and would be delighted for your pets company (we can open presents together on Christmas day!)
I’m looking to stay within the London area, so please only reach out if your home is in this vicinity.
Feel free to get in touch, I currently have full availability from now (mid-November) until 6th January.
PS: I’ve picked up a fun hobby—crafting merino wool figures! While I’m looking after your pet, I’ll create a mini version of them for you to keep. It’s a relaxing activity for me, and pets seem to enjoy the calm company while I work on it!
Claire was very understanding and considerate of our shy rescue cat and achieved miracles. They were friends within days and clearly best mates by the end. We received wonderful photos and videos from Claire and when we came back we found everything in order in our home, the plants all cared for and one very chilled cat. We were very lucky to have had Claire as our sitter.
Claire sat for us for nearly three weeks and looked after our elderly cat Bob brilliantly. The house was left absolutely spotless and in perfect order. Claire kept in regular contact and thoughtfully left us bread and milk knowing we were returning late. 100% would have Claire house sit for us again. She made our time away worry free.
Claire looked after our cat Molly for just over two weeks having lost our other cat just a week before house sitting for us. I was worried Molly would be pining for Monty but she settled in with Claire no problem.
Communication was excellent along with photos and putting any of our issues we had at ease.
I’d highly recommend Claire and will definitely ask her to sit for us again.
Claire is a wonderful sitter who bonded with Arlo as soon as she set foot in the house. She maintained his normal routine, giving him a chance to meet his friends while also enjoying lovely solo walks and cuddles in the house! Lots of great communication. Fully recommended
Claire was absolutely fantastic. One of our little dogs is very timid, but Claire’s experience of dogs shone through and she was sitting on Claire’s lap as soon as we left for our holidays. It is wonderful how Claire interacts with the dogs.also Claire’s gardening skills are excellent with all our plants and baskets flourishing. We can’t thank you enough Claire x
