Thank you so much for visiting my profile. :-)

I’m a positive, easygoing and sociable non-smoker who loves animals very much. I like to keep a home clean and will do the same for you. Am also willing to do whatever you need for your pets (and in the house/garden) to give you peace of mind.

During the past few months I've been exploring places, along and close to the stunning Jurassic Coast in SW England, taking care of gorgeous pets for their lovely owners.

I've looked after both nervous and confident dogs, (and became close to them all) also hens and roosters, several cats ... and a remotely operated lawn mower that required a nightly wash and had a personality of his own. His name was Robert. LOL.

I've rescued an injured bird from the roadside, walked through flooded lanes, sploshed through countryside woodland tracks in the rain, navigated (in places!) challenging coastal paths with the most glorious views, lived in a hidden hamlet with no signal on my phone (and no landline), the nearest neighbour a long way down a country lane or across dark fields, with no street (or other) lighting to guide you. All of that with a broken foot. (I only discovered I'd broken it after I'd booked in months of sits. Cue: more laughter.)

I have co-ordinated the replacement and installation of a broken boiler during the winter months (no hardship, the owner was kindly attentive from afar) and removed dead mice from a house (kitty gifts).

The experience so far has been more than I could have hoped for in every respect. Fun, peaceful, and absolutely brilliant.

MY EXPERIENCE

As a child, I grew up with a Doberman, two miniature poodles, followed by an Alsatian and finally a Collie. My mother was as soppy as I am about animals, and loved to feed the wildlife.

I loved and paid for care for 3 animals during time spent in Cyprus, taking them in as strays. I’m sure they saw me coming!

I've looked after friends and family dogs, and can always be found cuddling and kissing an animal if one passes me when out and about. It's in my bones to be that way.

A stray cat called Lulu walked into my home and adopted me during my 40’s - as they do! - and we enjoyed 16 happy years together. She was around 3 when she found me, terrified (having been poorly treated before, so I later discovered) and needed reassurance she would be safe. I felt blessed that she stayed with me, and trusted me to help her transition at the end of her life.

I looked after a friend’s miniature poodle mix for a month in 2022 and we had a wonderful time together. Morning massage was a thing. She’s so cute I spontaneously entered her into a doggie competition one day at a local event and she won a rosette for “Dog the judge would most like to take home.” (and confess to taking a little credit for encouraging her to look appealing)

MY WORK

I work from home much of the time at the moment doing 1-2-1 video consultations with clients, with focus on teaching people how to look after their gut health; also creating recipes for my cookery group. It’s very rewarding work helping people to heal and achieve their best vitality.

I'm also writing a book with an eminent physician, about a healing eating plan that was 30 years in development.

MY AVAILABILITY

I currently have 6 weeks of availability from 1st April 2025, with a sit booked from 14th - 25th June.

If my profile appeals to you, it would be lovely to ‘meet’ you on video call so we can say hello face to face and I can give you peace of mind that your babies will be safe, and showered with love if you invite me to take care of them, and your home.

I very much look forward to meeting you!

Sarah was a very considerate sitter . We received plenty of updates on Margot with lots of photos. I hope she enjoyed staying in our home and we know Margot loved 🥰 looking after Sarah 😂 I would recommend her as a sitter as she loves our girl so much.
