Retired couple with no encumbrances. We used to flit between South Africa and the UK doing house/animal sits for friends, family and house sitting agencies whilst in the U.K. However, we returned to the UK to settle in 2020 but still doing our House/animal sitting and still travelling. Keith is a retired solicitor, was a partner in a private practice in Hillcrest, South Africa and from 1990 a solicitor with a couple of practices in Bath, then opened his own locum law business in Bath. Christine has owned and run a couple of businesses, was an Area Director for a well known chain of estate agents in UK. We have two children and 5 grandchildren, dogs, cats, hamsters, all live in USA.
We have looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, chickens, donkeys, sheep, goats, gardens and houses. Love all animals, don't have any as we travel a lot thus the reason for animal/house sitting? Not afraid to cut the grass or keep properties clean, like our own homes. Keith was born in Zimbabwe, his father was a Major in the British Army, his mum from Leeds. Christine was born outside Glasgow, her father was in the RAF, mother was from Lancashire and in WAFS. All parents had their own successful businesses. Non smokers. Love all animals and we do enjoy dog walking.
Having just arrived home I am happy to say that Chris and Keith have been brilliant.
The animals were all happy and spotlessly clean, and more work had been done around the stable than we had asked ......thank you!
House immaculate and everything washed and dried, again more than we asked.
Would not hesitate to use again, hopefully when a bit drier and they can enjoy the location a bit more.
Thank you Keith & Chris for looking after Zac. Communication & photos of Zac were great. I felt I could go on my holiday & Zac & the house would be well looked after.
Chris and Keith are absolutely marvellous! They were super conscientious regarding the care of our dogs and our home. Great communication throughout. I didn’t worry about the dogs once while I was away. And we came home to an immaculate home and happy fur babies! Please don’t hesitate to use them. They are brilliant! Thanks once again guys. :)
Christine & Keith were fantastic sitters, our Charlie loved them. The house was immaculate when we returned home and Chris kindly washed all the bedding and towels
They were in constant contact with us while we were on holiday, sending updates and pics of Charlie which made us feel really at ease.
I would not hesitate to book them again.
I could not recommend Chris and Keith more highly. They are very experienced Housesitters. We had a very jolly evening together the night before we left, so were able to show them how everything worked and got to know the characteristics of the dogs They looked after our dogs and home as if it was their own. Chris & Keith are lovely & after meeting on my day of departure I was filled with confidence, we communicated daily, they updated me regularly and sent photos of my dogs, they bonded with both of them especially my blind & deaf one, my house was clean and tidy on my return, I felt very relaxed knowing they were there and wouldn't hesitate to have then sit again.
Chris and Keith were absolutely perfect and really warrant a 6 out of 5 rating!
Annie, our lone dog, is still missing them and sits and looks at the tennis balls longingly.
Chris kept in touch via what's app throughout the week which reassured us.
The house was immaculate, the chickens happy and the dog chilled.

We knew as soon as we spoke to Chris & Keith from our initial meeting via FaceTime that they were friendly, reliable, trustworthy, personable dog people.
This was confirmed when we met them face to face.
Chris provided daily updates on how Otto & Poppy were and they / we were able to communicate quickly and efficiently if any questions arose.
We were away celebrating my partners 60th birthday and we both felt reassured that our home and dogs were in safe hands.

Having spoken on Watsapp prior to our sit, it was a pleasure to meet Keith and Chris the evening prior to our departure.
Sharing a meal together gave us time to get to know one another, and discuss Rocco's needs and ways. We were able to show them where we lived and where Rocco liked to walk. It was evident they were experienced sitters.
Chris kept in regular contact with us during our time away.
Our home was clean, tidy and washing drying on our return.

Chris and Keith are fantastic sitters! My request was very last minute and it was my good fortune that they had just had a last minute cancellation and so were available. From the very start they were excellent communicators and I could tell they were passionate animal lovers. My oldie golden, Henry is a sickly boy but full of energy and love, hampered only by poorly paws, wonky elbows and back legs. Thanks Keith and Chris for house sitting for us from the 12/12/2020 till the 07/01/2021 and looking after our 3 dogs. We were very nervous going into this process, but our worries were soon gone. Chris kept us up to date with photos and messages. When we arrived back our house was spotless and dogs very happy. They also made sure we had dinner, bread and milk. We recommend Keith and Chris highly :)
Chris & Keith were the perfect house sitters. Regularly stayed in touch throughout their stay and showered Zippy the cat with much love and affection.

This was our first experience of House sitting and some family and friends were concerned with this decision. I wanted my dogs to still be at home and I needed care for my chickens. from my first conversation I was really put at my ease and I knew that I had made the right decision.

You couldn't find better house sitters then Christine & Keith. I wanted to make sure my animals and house were well looked after and that was certainly done. Everything was left spotlessly clean and the animals all very happy and contented. They went the extra mile by sending me updates that all was well and even left me some food and prepared vegetables ready for my return. A huge positive endorsement. Thank to you both
