I am British - 62 years old, healthy and enjoy walking and swimming. Fluent in English, French, Italian and basic conversation in Spanish. I have lived and worked in London, Paris, Milan, Japan and India. I have recently returned to the UK after living in Delhi for 20 years. I grew up with labradors in the West Country and many of my friends and work colleagues have dogs and cats. So I am very used to looking after animals. I am very house proud and am meticulous when it comes to cleaning (incl laundry) - kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, sitting room areas etc. I can do basic gardening and will water plants inside and out if required.
I have worked in the Fashion, Arts and Hospitality industry for the past 4 decades. My personal interests are travelling, visiting museums, galleries, theatre, cooking, book festivals and antique fairs
A small contribution towards my food and travel expenses would be my minimum requirement.

I would happily recommend Caroline for both house and pet sitting. She is conscientious and kind, and her experience with dogs was clear and much appreciated. She kept in touch with us throughout her stay which meant we could relax while away. Our dog clearly enjoyed her company. She also kept the house in perfect order and was a pleasure to deal with.

Caroline was an excellent house sitter. She took very good care of the house, the garden, watering plants and picking raspberries and other veg, and in particular she was wonderful with our two dogs, which included a very difficult situation as one of our dogs was very elderly. She was in regular contact and altogether very trustworthy, communicative and respectful. I would definitely recommend Caroline as a house sitter.

Caroline was such a fantastic dog and house sitter for our Roxy. We met the week before we left on our holiday and we got on very well and she was at ease with Roxy immmediately so I felt very confident about leaving her in charge! We were away for 3 weeks so it was quite a long stay but Caroline communicated very well with us while we were away and sent a great bit of video of Roxy in the field behind our house.
