Kathy

I am a recently retired animal lover looking to care for other peoples' pets after my dogs, cats & rabbits unfortunately are no longer with me. I enjoy new experiences, adventures, exercising, travelling, walking, playing with & caring for animals so thought this would be a perfect scenario for me.

Besides conventional pets I have, in the past, looked after birds,
tropical fish, chickens, & ducks whilst living in a rural setting.

I live in Exeter in a little cottage which is part of a larger house where a very lovely whippet called Willow lives. I looked after Willow (see picture) in her home in June 2023 whilst her owner went on holiday for a week. I also looked after a Bengalese cat called Pinstripe (see picture of her sleeping on my lap) in her home in Plymouth January of this year whilst her family went on holiday for 2 weeks. I really enjoyed both experiences so have decided to reach out into a much wider audience to share adventures with animals who need love & affection while their owners are absent.
I am more than happy to house/pet sit within the South West at the moment.

Kathy looked after Willow while I was on holiday June 2023. Willow has some behavioural issues and Kathy carried out all the instructions as required. I felt very comfortable that Willow would be in safe hands & Kathy sent me regular updates via photos of Willow during the time I was away and I came back to a happy Willow and a lovely clean house.

Kathy looked after our kitten and home during our two week holiday abroad. She was easy to communicate with and quick to respond both during the scheduling and planning of the sit and also whilst we were away if we checked in. We found Kathy to be trustworthy and friendly. Our kitten Pin bonded well with her and Kathy sent us a few photos to reassure that all was well and Pin was happy. We returned home to a happy cat and tidy house and have arranged for Kathy to sit again during our next holiday later this year in October. We would wholeheartedly recommend Kathy for house and pet sitting.
