Calm and reliable

70, Retired civil servant

I am a calm, tidy and reliable person, good with cats and dogs. (We always had pets as the children were growing up.) Though I don’t have any pets at present, I do look after my daughter’s cat when she is away. (She is a vet.)
I enjoy walking and travel (have just returned from a 6 month solo trip in Central Asia).
I am looking for house sitting places in and around London throughout the summer. Happy to talk on WhatsApp or meet. I am new to Housesitters so there are no reviews yet.

Maria was amazing! It was a pleasure to have her look after our dog and home and we felt totally reassured and secure with her in charge. She was reliable, respectful, kind and caring with Lola and kept in touch with us. She also managed an unexpected problem calmly and sensibly and didn’t let it disturb our holiday. The house looked beautiful on our return and Lola missed Maria! We’ll definitely be asking Maria to house sit again and can’t recommend her highly enough.
