Hi, we are an active retired couple. Our home is in Bedford where we live with our son and his wife, our grandchildren and 3 cats. We also have a home in Spain and spend a lot of time in the lovely countryside of Andalucia. We also have children in Wales, Chicago, Miami and New Zealand so we have a busy life in retirement. We're a quiet couple, Dennis plays Badminton, Padel and likes chess, I'm a quilter, knitter etc. We both like reading and walking and each others company. We're also very keen gardeners and grow our own food which helps as we are vegetarian. Until retirement we've always had much loved pets of all sorts but as we are away a lot we do not have any pets of our own now. We do however share care of Oscar, and lately adopted Steve and Lucy. Whilst in our Spanish home we help care for a variety of cats and kittens which is fun. We're hoping to experience new places in the uk whilst helping owners to have peace of mind whilst they enjoy their break knowing their pets will be happy, loved and safe in their own home.
This will be our second year as sitters. We had a very happy few weeks with two lovely little cats last year. Unfortunately neither ourselves or our hosts put our reviews in on time. However the hosts are very happy to provide a reference for us and we can pass on their contact details for any new host who would like to have a reference for us.
