We both enjoy travel and meeting new friends. We have always had pets of our own and we look after family and friends pets when they are away on holiday.
With us looking after your home or home and pets you can travel and enjoy your time away and not worry.
We are very hands on when it comes to fixing problems should they arise .
2022 was our first year of house sitting and it was everything we thought it might be and more. We started house sitting in 2022 and by the end of 2024 we'll have completed 36 sits. We're now getting booked up quickly for 2025.
We are an honest, friendly, caring retired couple with grown-up children and grandchildren.
There are still lots of areas we have never been to and are looking forward to exploring new places and meeting new people and caring for their pets.
We are non-smokers and enjoy the outdoor life. We love walking, gardening, cooking and spending time with our family and friends.
We are happy to keep in touch with you over WhatsApp etc photos/videos to reassure you all is well whilst you are away.
We're home owners ourselves and would respect your property like we do ours.

Fantastic yet again! Thank you so much Ian & Susan. We have had multiple sits from Ian & Susan and there is no question, they are the best. Our dog Reuben absolutely adores them and is so excited when they arrive (and sad when they leave). This was our fourth time having Ian and Susan house sit for us and we are so lucky! They are the best house and pet sitters you can find if you are lucky enough to book them. The care and attention to our house and pet dog Reuben is first class, he absolutely adores them. Ian and Susan immediately settled in with our 2 dogs and 3 cats. Juno, our retriever is nervous of strangers but they soon had her confidence. It was clear that all the furries had been loved and cared for and our house was clean and tidy. Ian and Susan sent us pictures of their activities and the dogs relaxing after more walks and better feeding than usual. It was a wonder we were wanted back! Amazing again! This is the second time that we have had Ian and Susan care for our dog Reuben and our house. We (especially Reuben) are very lucky to have met them, they are perfect house sitters - so much so that we have booked them again for October and will be trying to convince them to come again in 2024! Ian and Susan are friendly, thoughtful, considerate and helpful. We chatted on FaceTime first and knew that we were going to like them. They arrived the day before we left for 4 weeks and they wanted to understand exactly how to look after our house, gardens and pets. We were able to leave in complete confidence that all would be well. We had messages, video calls and even a visit from them to meet Reuben (the dog). Ian and Sue Piercy were 5 stars all round. 5 weeks when we went to Australia. Their rapport with our Rottweiler Ruby was great and she went almost everywhere with them, spending all day out some times. They looked after the house splendidly and we would recommend them to anyone and would obviously use them again.

I arranged for Ian and Susan to stay in my house to look after my dog while I was in hospital for a replacement knee operation. As it turned out the operation was cancelled at very short notice - one hour! Coupled with other events, Ian and Susan's stay turned out in a way they did not expect.
