Hi!

We are Paul and Fiona from A Pair of Travellers and are currently completing travel in the UK for the next 2 years. We are looking for house sits during 2024 to 2026.

As we travel for the next few years we realised that what we would miss is owning our own pets. We love animals and have owned and looked after a full menagerie. Dogs (big and small), cats (indoor and outdoor), birds (aviaries and caged), guinea pigs and rabbits, sheep, alpacas, geese and last but not least chooks. Spending some time with your pet will help us fill our need for animal cuddles!

Before we retired, we worked in Project Delivery and Air Traffic Management and have been at various times home owners, renters and landlords. We have completed over 17 sits in the last two years in Australia. We also have experience with swimming pools, gardens, small acreages, management of staff and rain water management. We are non drinkers (except for toasts at weddings!) and we do not smoke.

We are happy to have a chat and answer any of your questions, and we can discuss agreed parameters of the sit. This includes how you want your pet loved and looked after while you're away, as well as looking after the house/property.

We are able to provide current Police Checks and references from people we have pet and house sat for. So, get in touch and let's talk about your pet and our availability!

Paul and Fiona looked after our house and our 9-mth old puppy while we were travelling for 5 weeks. From the very beginning, they made us feel comfortable and instantly connected with our puppy. Paul and Fiona did a 6 week stay for us and wow what a phenomenal job they did. We have a very anxious rescue German sheppard and both F&P took it completely in their stride to give her the love and attention she needs to progress forward. We arrived home to happy and relaxed dogs - always a sign that we had chosen the right sitters! Paul and Fiona did an excellent job of looking after our two mini schnauzers (one of whom is on medication) and our home. Highly recommend them.

Paul and Fiona were amazing! They looked after our 3 dogs, cat, chickens, sheep, alpacas and geese for 3.5 weeks. I think our dogs, especially our little JR Mini, would have liked to keep them permanently as they were so fond of them. They came a day earlier so the pets could get use to them and so that they could learn their routines.
