SingleI owned my own equestrian training facility for nearly 20 years caring for my own plus customer horses living in a barn and in a run-in shed, also taking care of a donkey and some goats for a while. Additionally I grew and baled hay, and can operate many types of machinery. I have had my own dogs my whole life and barn cats sometimes. I have been around cows a lot, and have had friends with poultry and small birds, as well as other small animals.

I sold my farm/equestrian training facility and very sadly just lost my best friend Maximus (15 year old rescue dog) a few months ago, so I am ready to explore the world and make more friends, furry and otherwise, as I go. I love to have a purpose, so this opportunity sounds like a perfect fit for me! I have been an animal person all my life, and for years even had a rescued fox that my mom brought home for me when I was young. I have had dogs and horses my whole life and became a professional equestrian after graduating from University. I cared for horses in my own facility and friends’ dogs whenever needed. Cats love me too. I have not taken care of birds, but follow instructions well and know and pay attention animals well enough to know if something looks wrong. I love to explore new places and have considered moving to the UK, so house and pet sitting seems like a great place to start!
