I am American and have just moved here with my British husband after living abroad for many years.

We are currently staying with his family (in Oxfordshire) while I take a year to find employment and we find a home to purchase,

My husband has a lorry driving job and is gone each day for 10+ hours. I would like to find a purposeful use of my time and allow us an opportunity to explore other areas of England where we can choose to live.

I have always been surrounded by animals (dogs, cats, birds, horses, chickens, goats, lizards- you name it) I love all animals and can promise excellent care and high compassion for them.

My husband will join me in the evenings when he is off work, but the days I will remain at the home. I am a trustworthy, low key and kind. I am reliable and will take excellent care of your home (leaving it clean and how you left it - so you return to happy critters and home!)

April and her partner looked after our dogs and cat for two weeks over Christmas. The animals were very happy and we came home to an immaculate house. Communication was excellent before, during and after the sit. Would definitely use again.

April and David were amazing, caring house sitters. My 2 dogs had a great time with them, and the house was left tidy and clean. Cannot recommend highly enough!

It was great hearing about their travels and their different perspectives gained from living aboard. April & David were fantastic house and dog sitters... Mia couldn't have been more loved. We came home to an immaculate house and one very happy dog.
