We are a long married couple who are winding down from our careers and are keen to explore new experiences and enjoy the responsibilities which come with looking after owners’ much loved family pets. After our adored cocker spaniel died last year at 14, we decided not to get a new dog but rather have the joy of still spending time with animals and caring for them through house-sitting while getting to know different parts of the country. Through raising our family, we have had hamsters, rabbits, Guinea pigs as well as Barney, our cocker spaniel, and have looked after the pets of family and friends.
