Alison & Chris

Hello !
We have looked after pets and gardens for friends and family since retiring six years ago, and combining these roles with the opportunity to explore parts of the UK that we don't know is a perfect mix.
We are primarily cat-lovers and we have always had at least one cat in our household but we have also looked after our daughter's dog and, when our children were young, we had a succession of rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chickens and stick insects ! Alison can't do long dog-walks at the moment as her knees aren't great, but Chris is good for a few miles.
We are keen gardeners and allotment-holders and would be very happy to add gardening and watering jobs to the list. It might be just Alison or both of us house-sitting, depending on whether it's a time of year when we can leave our own allotment untended.
We understand that it must be quite worrying to leave a beloved pet and a beautiful house in the care of total strangers, so we will always keep in touch with photos and messages while you're away if this is something you would like.
