• About Us:
We are both retired and have a very relaxed lifestyle, looking after our grandchildren and playing bowls, pétanque and singing in the Rock Choir. We often cat and dog sit for family, which we thoroughly enjoy as a break from our normal routine.

• Travel Plans:
We have no specific time frame for house sitting. We enjoy travelling and meeting new people, especially after our experience of spending a year with our Cocker Spaniel Toby, travelling around Europe in our caravan in 2016. Sadly, we lost Toby in September 2023 at the good old age of 15 years and 4 months.

• Pet Types:
Between us we have experience of caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, white rats, gerbils, budgies, tropical fish and garden birds.

• Specific Care:
We both have experience with specific pet needs like feeding, walking, medication administration, grooming, and training.

• We are also from caring professions – Janitor at a primary/secondary school and at a Kids Adventure Park (that’s after retiring from 37 years with BT) and a BACP Registered Counsellor, also practised within primary and secondary schools.

• Household Tasks:
We are comfortable to perform tasks like watering plants, recycling, taking out household rubbish, maintaining basic cleanliness, and following specific instructions regarding appliances.

• Security Measures:
We are both security conscious and therefore committed to maintaining home security while we are house sitting.

• Reliability:
We are reliable, punctual and commited to effective communication with homeowners. We will update you as frequently as you would like on your pet(s) - providing photos and videos. It's reassuring to see that your beloved pet is happy and healthy while you are not at home!

• Respectful:
We have the utmost respect for homeowner's property and belongings.

• Dates and Flexibility:
Most available house-sitting dates would be considered, with sufficient notice, to allow rescheduling any previous family commitments we have made. We are also open to longer term house sits.

• Personal Touch:
We are non-smokers, conscientious and honest individuals, with love and a great respect for animals, people and their property.
