I'm a 61 year old, recently retired professional man, formerly a University employee, with experience of owning dogs and cats myself over the years. My background is Data Science and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

Why did I register on this site? My passion for travel, meeting other like-minded people, and my own enjoyment of companionship with dogs & cats. There’s nothing more rewarding, than to see dogs & cats enjoying their play time with their temporary carer during walks in the park, beach, woodland or up a hillside.

Originally from Aberdeenshire, I now live in a former weaving village in Fife, Scotland. For the past 12 years I have looked after fellow villagers dogs and cats during a time when the pet owner was in hospital, convalescing at home, or away on holiday. My hobbies include, travel, walking, cycling, swimming and meeting people.

I consider myself a respectful, trustworthy, responsible, motivated, confident, well earthed professional man…with a good splash of integrity too!
