Nicky

I am kind, caring and responsible person who adores animals and the outdoors. I'm a new joiner to this site and excited to be here, and I have plenty of experience caring for pets and properties belonging to friends and family while they have been away. I thought I would branch out and do this for others, while enjoying a change of scenery for myself, and the chance to meet other animals. The most recent pet sit was caring for my neighbour's labradoodle while she was in hospital in February.

I have lots of experience with dogs (some training experience as well), as well as cats, poultry, and I've had two horses of my own.

My vocation allows me to work from anywhere as long as I have access to wifi, so that means I can give your animals (and plants) the care, time and attention they need to ensure they they feel happy and comfortable while you are away. I am a country girl at heart and love the outdoors, so if your dog/s enjoy a long walk, I'd be very happy to do so! I will also pay close attention to any special instructions or needs your pets may have, be that medication, play, or extra cuddles! If you have an anxious or older/younger pet, I am also very sensitive to that, and will provide the care they need accordingly.

I know first-hand what it's like to feel so far away from one's treasured animals, and therefore understand the importance of good communication during this time. I can provide regular updates (if you wish) so that you can relax, feel assured and can focus on your time away.

I love plants (have many houseplants of my own) as well as a garden (though admittedly I'm not an expert gardener - as yet ; ) - but will do my best!)

I am a clean and tidy person, so your property will be treated with the utmost respect, and with me, you can depart knowing that your treasured pets and home are in safe and responsible hands.

An added bonus here is Nicky's own dog, Skanda, who is an impeccably trained and well behaved black Labrador.
