Greetings from Pennsylvania. I'm a US based sitter who really loves the UK. I've been married for 25 years, have a son at university, and my wife and I have a dog and three cats. My wife and I have never been without cats. We will occasionally have a stint without a dog. In our younger days, I've cared for a snake and a hedgehog. I grew up in the farmlands of Lancaster County (Amish country) so farm animals are no stranger. I'm also a hobby beekeeper and currently have about a dozen hives. Animals of any kind bring me joy.
My wife and I often travel together, but we just as often travel on our own. Part of my affinity for the UK is a love of ambling which is far more difficult in the US. I love coming to the UK and walking public footpaths, often doing many miles in day. My wife is wonderfully understanding of these solo trips. I hope to meet your furry/feathery/scaly friends one day.
