We need a house sitter

South West - Somerset

Clare

Comfortable house in a quiet country hamlet, large garden with a stream, beautiful location with great walks & places of interest to visit. Beach & coast 15 mins away, village with shops 5 mins drive. Car needed. Care of 3 x good natured friendly cats, feed & water 6 hens who live in a secure run, water pots plants if needed. Robotic mower takes care of huge lawn! Spacious guest room with its adjacent shower room. Smart TV.

We have just got back form a lovely house sit. Two beautiful, playful kittens and two older cats who took a little longer to settle in with us but but became more courageous as time when on. 6 hens to look after who kindly laid us some eggs in return. The house was great and its in a good location for walking on Exmoor and down by the sea. Would be happy to return in the future.

We met Clare on the afternoon before the sit and she showed us around the house and grounds/ chicken run. When we arrived the next day we had been left printed instructions to help with feeding the lovely fluffy cats Lily and Isobel and the playful kittens Tu Tu and Otto. Clare and Andres house is very comfortable and cosy it is situated on the edge of Exmoor and is very close to the North Somerset coast we loved sitting in the conservatory for breakfast where you can look across the garden ... It was a real joy to look after Clare's pets, house and garden. Communication was great and we felt very welcomed in their beautiful home. The garden was amazing and location was fantastic for woods, hills and beaches. Lola is a dream, so well behaved, fantastic off her lead and absolutely loves her walks. We enjoyed our adventures with Lola exploring the local area which is stunning! The cats are gorgeous too, very sweet and gentle and we were very happy to see they felt comfortable with us. ...
