We need a house sitter

East of England - Norfolk

We are looking for a reliable and competent house sitting person or couple from Friday 19th July - Friday 2nd August 2024.. We live in a beautiful Queen Anne house on a farm in the picturesque Waveney Valley. You can access the Broads, coastal town and beaches and the wonderful city of Norwich. We have 2 dogs; a whippet and a lurcher that are both very friendly and keen on sleeping. In return you will have a guest room in our lovely home, fluffy towels and wonderful Bramley bath products. We do have sheep and ponies that will be looked after by someone here.

This was a lovely sit. Jetta and Sukey are absolutely adorable, complete sweethearts. Joan and Andy are very kind, their house gorgeous and the area stunning, with all amenities right on the doorstep. I'll miss the girls hugely. Thank you!

This was a wonderful house sit. The dogs were fantastic and a pleasure to look after. We really enjoyed taking them for walks across the fields and country lanes. The house is spacious and our bedroom and en suite bathroom was very comfortable and quiet. The area is so peaceful. It’s a lovely part of the world and we would definitely go back. Thank you to Joan and family for giving us such a warm welcome.

Thank you Joan and family for having us over. Communication was so easy and friendly. What a wonderful place to spend a peaceful week in. The dogs were an absolute pleasure to look after. The chickens and ducks provided us with beautiful, fresh eggs every day. Wonderful area for long walks, you won't get bored at all. Will come back any time at all! Thank you
 
LASMA (Aug 2021 - 1 week)
We had a wonderful time looking after the farm. Fresh eggs were available from the chickens each day, the dogs were so loving and playful and the home was spacious and relaxing to be in. The daily chores are more than your usual sit but we really enjoyed it as a working holiday and we learnt a lot. If you like new experiences and living by routine, then this is great for you.
