Hello!
We are looking for a house sitter for a few days in June.
We have two elderly dogs, who require very little exercise, but lots of company and cuddles. Four cats, including an adorable oriental kitten, who all need attention, playtimes and snuggles. We also have some fish, but they just need some food.

We are in a lovely small town between Chesterfield and Sheffield. In the town, there's a good selection of shops and supermarkets, plus cafes and a decent pub. We have a leisure centre with a state of the art gym and a new swimming pool. The town of Chesterfield is a short drive/ bus ride away and has all the usual high street stores, plus a wonderful market. Sheffield city centre is easily accessible, offering cinema, theatres, sports venues and of course, Meadowhall shopping centre. Best of all though, we have the Peak District National Park right on our doorstep! You will find yourself spoilt for choice with walks and hiking, cycling, rock climbing, historical villages and towns, stunning valleys and gorges with a vast array of flora and fauna. It is a wonderful place to visit in summer, with long, dry days making it perfect for a leisurely walk and a picnic, or climbing, pooling and water sports for the more adventurous! We can help with tips for the best places to visit. We are also on the border of Nottinghamshire and just a 30 minute drive to Sherwood Forest and the lovely Clumber Park. There is also Bolsover castle close by, which is an entertaining day out.

Back home, we have a quiet, quirky home, with super fast internet and a space to work from. There is a newly refurbished, well stocked kitchen at your disposal and a choice of TV streaming. We have a master bedroom, plus two further double bedrooms, each with TV’s, all of which you're free to use. We also have travel cot, pushchair and a high chair, if required. There is an Xbox available to play and a selection of toys and games for younger children.

So if a summer exploration of the beautiful Peak District, Derbyshire Dales, Sherwood Forest and Yorkshire, sounds like your cup of tea, please do get in touch! Please note, we can be slightly flexible with these dates, a day either side or extra one will be fine, if you require it.
