We are looking for Housesitter/s for a 3 bed rural cottage with a small holding attached. We have a black Labrador called Magnus and chickens, ducks and geese (free eggs). We would love it if our Housesitter would also water a poly tunnel and greenhouse daily. Lots of rural walks. Car charger available (please cover electricity costs). Open ponds. Log fires. Not suitable for very young children. Great for teenagers or older kids. No remuneration but also no costs. Can help with transport.
We really enjoyed being in this busy rural house with great long walks round about to take the dog on. We loved looking after the geese, ducks and hens, and were very pleased when the cat decided to move back in!
I enjoyed house-sitting for Janet and Alan. Magnus, the black lab, is full of energy and very obviously enjoyed the long walks we went on in the local area. This was made easy as the Fife Coastal Path can be reached from the garden. There is also a field of hens, ducks and geese which need feeding in the morning and putting away in the evening.
