We are looking for a nice, responsible person/couple to take care of our beloved Macy while we travel abroad. She is a 12 year old very healthy Patterdale Terrier, very low maintenance, but requires two walks a day along with endless cuddles.

Our small two bedroom/one bathroom cottage is situated in the charming market town of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Endless countryside walks and the vibrant town are within a three minute walk from our house. We have a beautiful garden which overlooks the river. The house is on three levels. There is plenty to do in Richmond and the Yorkshire Dales.

Two wonderful humans with an equally wonderful little dog. We had a perfect sit at Michael and Bill's. We couldn't wish for kinder or more thoughtful hosts - providing us with everything in the house we could need for our stay, and making us feel so welcome when we arrived in beautiful Richmond. Michael and Bill are well travelled, were very relaxed and pleasant to communicate with. Their house was very nice, with a low maintenance garden and great views. The area is very quiet and Richmond has plenty of walks nearby. Macy was a really easy take care of and enjoyed her long walks and cuddles. I would be happy to sit again and appreciate the opportunity to look after Macy.

We had a wonderful time looking after Macy in BEAUTIFUL Richmond. She is a sweet, funny dog that we were lucky enough to spend 3 weeks with. She loved all our fair weather walks, tolerated the rainy ones, and was good company on the couch at the end of the day. She lets you know when she wants to be fed, or wants a top of her food. Michael and Bill were very welcoming, taking me out for a walk with Macy and later a meal when I arrived the day before they left for their hols. Macy was really such a pleasure to look after - very laid back and enjoyed spending time with me which was lovely. Communication before and during the sit was great and Michael and Bill's home was stunning as was the garden. Would recommend to any sitters in future :)
