Littleborough England

We are looking for a house sitter to care for our Labrador and indoor cat. We live right on the Pennines, with access to the moors right outside our house. The village is a few minutes drive away, and we have Hollingworth Lake also 5 minutes away. Our dog is best with a walk each day. The cat is to stay indoors (she got knocked down near our house so we keep her in now). The cat likes to sit with you and sleep near you so you need to be ok with a fairly needy cat. They can both be left fine as well for the day, just not day after day - they’re used to having someone home with them. The dog is a typical Labrador. He is very eager to please and is very food orientated. He can push his luck if you’re not confident around dogs, but he’s very soft and will mostly fetch you his blanket as a gift when you come home.

Normal kind of house with all the usual things and there is on street parking. The train station is around 20 mins walk, few mins drive and takes you directly to Manchester centre in around 30 minutes. Black stone edge and the Pennine way is also nearby if you enjoy walking.
