House with double room and kids room with bunks, living room, dining room, full kitchen with plenty of sundries like spices etc you're welcome to use for your cooking.
It's kind of basic, but everything necessary is in place, but some might find it a bit grotty, we dont care about that ourselves.
The garden is quite large, with apples, pears, cherries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, rhubarb, etc as well as some veg and herbs, you're welcome to whatever is in season.
We have 6 chickens and a duck, we're away for about 4 weeks so you can expect over 100 eggs. The birds have a large secure run and let themselves in and our, they have 60l waterers and 20kg feeder, so do not require daily work,
We dont mow the grass too often as it's not good for nature, but you can mow it if you want to use the lawn to play etc.
We have three small ponds currently full of tadpoles, perhaps newts, certainly other life.
We also have a tortoise and a hamster, these require minimal care but enjoy being taken out.
We have a piano, home cinema and reasonable internet for your entertainment.
The house is in a quiet area, there's a park with a river walk just behind, its not too far walkung into town through the main park, and there are two shops a short walk away as well as a chemist and a bakers. Town has many independent shops, and a good museum
A short drive away there are numerous walks and the coast is about half an hour with good beach walks and great fossil hunting, examples can be seen in the house and garden.
We're just looking for someone who will enjoy the space, appreciate the garden, perhaps enjoy doing some gardening themself, and happy to take care of the animals. We're not offering money, only eggs!
