We need a house sitter

East of England - Norfolk

Sorrel

We are off to Iceland at the end of August and are looking for a house sitter to take care of our dogs Winnie and Mabel

We live in rural Norfolk about 8 miles south-east of Norwich.
We have 2 dogs a Labrador and a Staffie , 1 cats and some chickens .
We have 4 horses which there is daily help with, so they'd are not the sitters responsibility!
The dogs are well behaved and are friendly so a a sitters dog is welcome.
We have been using house sitters for the last 10 and have meet some great people , we have had couples and families and even a traveling dog and it seems to have worked well for everyone each time !

Our home is rural but there are neighbours, with the nearest village about 1 mile away. We have a large garden surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of walking, we are about 30 minutes from the Norfolk Broads and the coast and a 15 minute drive to Norwich .
September is a lovely time to visit Norfolk , there is plenty to do and see

We need someone to care for the dogs and cats ,to look after the home and enjoy all Norfolk has to offer

This was a delightful sit. Sorrel and Charles were the perfect hosts and it was a real privilege to housesit for them. They met me from the station and after introductions provided me with a lovely home cooked meal. They were warm and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Holly Cottage is a delightful home in a picture post card setting. Alice, Amanda, the groom who cares for the horses and David were a great help giving me lots of tips and advice, during my stay. I was blessed with the weather which made my visit all the more enjoyable. This is a sit not to miss!

Sorrel and Charles gave us a warm welcome to their homely and comfortable house in beautiful countryside surroundings. George, Bertie and Mable the dogs were very friendly and full of character. Chickens layed superb eggs and the cats Wally and Polo did their own thing with a cuddle now and again. Great experience.

No rating Sorrel and Charles are lovely and their house is too. We felt very at home and enjoyed the company of their dogs. The garden is really pretty and we even saw an Otter in the stream at the end of it!
