Hi! I'm Megan, a freelance writer based between London and East Anglia.

I'm a quiet, gentle, and friendly presence, who loves animals and exploring new areas. I want to make the most of my current flexible work to spend time in a variety of places, ideally in the company of wonderful pets too!

I have years of pet-sitting experience with dogs and cats. I love taking dogs for walks, and am more than happy to brush animals, play with them, or let them have space.

I grew up with cats, guinea pigs, a hamster, and chickens, so am very familiar caring for all of these animals, and especially understand the temperaments of different cats and different caring responsibilities of kittens vs older cats, and indoor vs outdoor cats.

I'm happy to do any light plant care that is required too, whether that is watering plants or dead-heading.

Megan is an amazing sitter. We were a little nervous about using a sitter as it was our first time, but she smashed it out the park and made us feel super comfortable throughout. Plenty of communication, and pictures! Also left the house spotless! Would happily have her back. Our cat is a little shy but she took to Megan instantly, she definitely has the calming aura pets are looking for! Thanks Megan!

Megan was great. She was very good at responding to all communication, reliable and very tidy. Our cat warmed to her really quickly. Megan sent us plenty of updates (including photos of our cat on her lap and looking very relaxed). Highly recommend!

This was the second time Megan has taken care of our two cats and we were again very happy with her. Our cats were very relaxed and happy when we returned and our house was exactly as we’d left it. Megan has been a wonderful cat and house sitter for us when we were on holiday. Our two cats were very relaxed and happy when we returned and our house was super tidy. She was always very fast to respond when we reached out to her, so we felt confident that everything was going well with our cats.
