Happy Tails Pet Sitter

41, Not working currently.

Hi there, my name is Nina, I live in South West Cornwall and I adore animals. I had a Parsons Terrier called Billy (see photo's) until he passed away in 2018. Since then I have decided not to have any more pets for a while as it was so upsetting to lose him, and also as I want to travel around a bit so it makes sense to look after other people's pets at the moment.

When I heard about house sitters uk through a friend (who also does house sitting) I thought what a great idea.

For the last 2 years i have done pet/house sitting for a family in Palmers Green, London every August for 2 weeks. I look after their gorgeous Cockapoo Jack (see profile photo) and 2 cats Betty and Boris and the family I did it for are happy to provide a reference.
Back home in Cornwall I also regularly pet sit a terrier called Hazel while her owner is away, and also a house sit for steve and Tracy who have a pair of boisterous working labradors (so I can get references from them as well).

I have quite a lot of experience with different types of animals. I was brought up with goats, chickens, cats, an Alsatian dog, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and gerbils, and over the years have had a lot of experience looking after different types of dogs with different characters and needs.

As well as looking after the animals I take the responsibility of looking after someone's home very seriously. I like to leave a home in as clean and tidy as I found it, and I am a tidy and clean person.

Im a sensible person and I enjoy a quiet life really. My other interests apart from animal care includes natural health and well-being, foraging, healing herbs, cooking, reading, yoga and pilates, walking and outdoor swimming and being in nature.

Nina was a lovely sitter and took great care of my cat Layla! She seemed very happy when I was back. Great communication. Thank you!
