Cheerful and capable 'young' & fit retired couple, willing and able to care for your home, house pets, plants and small garden. We've enjoyed some wonderfully varied 'sits' and returned to several homes. The properties have been cared for as if they were our own and the pets afforded the very best of care, in line with their owners wishes. Ex-professionals, we've had voluntary experience with young people, community groups and senior citizens. We are responsible and practical home owners, life long cat lovers, enthusiastic dog walkers and will get on well with neighbours etc. CRB checked from work & voluntary activities and with exemplary references and reviews, we have full clean driving licences and transport. Adaptable, friendly and completely trustworthy, we are the ideal people to care for all the things you care for while you're away.
****Update: having offered a home to Martha, a 5 year old cockapoo, we can now only accept 'sits' where she could join us. She's beautifully trained & sleeps in a cage at night. We also now have caravan accommodation if needed

This was a lot more than I expected from house sitters and I will definitely ask them again for any future dates. I can only recommend them very highly to anybody looking for very kind and wonderful sitters and their dog Darcy is lovely and made friends with Jonas instantly.

Stevie and Vaughn were a total delight. We immediately felt we could trust them and they didn't disappoint us. The house was spotless when we arrived home and we received texts with lovely photos while we were away. We have no hesitation in recommending them. Also their doggy Darcy is just the sweetest girl. Our two dogs loved her. Thanks for making our holiday even more relaxing by giving us peace of mind while we were away. Massive thumbs up.

A great couple who were everything they said they were! Dog lovers, they whatsapp'd bulletins during their stay, very nice people, left the house sparkling and even washed their bedding! I thoroughly recommended Stevie and Vaughan and I hope to see them again!

Stevie and Vaughan looked after our house but more importantly the Cats from 20th to 28th August. Because we move our holiday dates we were not able to meet them but I sent them the information and we spoke on the phone and they were fantastic. We received regular updates including pictures of the cats. The house was very clean and we were left a lovely card and plant. We look forward to inviting them back.

A delightful couple, Stevie and Vaughan are the perfect house/pet sitters and looked after Amber beautifully. Long daily walks and lots of cuddles what more could a dog ask for!! Oh and also thank you for taking a meal to my elderly father and tending his garden which was extraordinarily thoughtful of you. Really lovely and very much hope to see them again.

Stevie and Vaughan are just fabulous sitters and are almost friends since we have been corresponding with them since we first joined this site, 3 years ago. Eventually, our dates suited us all and they were able to stay, even though we had moved house and 20 mins away from where we originally lived when we first started speaking.
We have 3 cats, Liza the oldest, was quite ill before S&V arrived but we notified them prior, we didn't know if she would still be with us on the day S&V were due ... Indeed, we took her to the Vet that very morning, not expecting to bring her back, but she came back with us armed with medication which S&V administered along with nursing her and TLC. When we got back 10 days later, Liza was a different cat. S&V kept us informed via Whatsapp and photos during our time away.
Big thank you to S&V, we'd recommend them to anyone looking for sitters. They got on so well with our neighbours too, as we live in a small community that is important, they were even invited for tea!

We feel very lucky that Stevie and Vaughan were able to house and pet sit for us. Communication beforehand and while we were away was easy and relaxed and we really enjoyed meeting them when they arrived the evening before we were leaving.
Our little dog immediately recognised in Stevie and Vaughan true animal lovers and quickly made himself comfortable on their laps.
We highly recommend Stevie and Vaughan-no hesitation and would love to have them housesit for us at any point in the future.

Stevie and Vaughan came and looked after our two dogs for us for a fortnight this August. They very kindly came over beforehand and met us, and met the dogs and it was great to get to know them before we left. They took the dogs on lots of lovely outings and walks too which really was an added bonus! I would not hesitate to recommend this ... Stevie and her husband were fantastic dog and house sitters - responsive, flexible, loving, communicative, and tidy. We got regular updates and photos of our dogs having fun during our vacation and returned to a spotless home with fresh fruit and staple foods. Highly recommended!

Oh my word what can I say, the most incredible first experience with having a housesitter. From the first conversation with Stevie I knew that I wanted her to look after my fur babies. She was incredible. The animals were so happy when we got home. I can tell normally when we have been away as it takes them a few days to adjust, not this time, they were literally like we had never left, they were so happy. We got to know Stevie and Vaughan before our holiday by mail, text and Skype leaving us very happy to let them stay without meeting in person. Regular messages about the house, neighbours and cat whilst away with photos to show how settled the cat was! The house was as we left it upon return with the bedding washed and a lovely vase of spring dafodils to welcome us. Definitely recommend Stevie and Vaughan (and hope they're free for our next trip away)

I'd previously spoken to Stevie as she phoned beforehand & they sent us a text whilst we were away to let us know all was well. I arranged well in advance for Stevie and Vaughn to pet sit for our mature, but healthy, pets, a dog and cat. Communications by email and telephone were excellent and I felt very happy with the arrangement.
A month or so before our holiday, however, I had to inform them that our once bouncy dog had been extremely ill with liver disease; although he was recovering he still needed much tlc and to be given a lot of medication. Stevie and Vaughn had ample experience of caring for a sick dog ... MOREI arranged well in advance for Stevie and Vaughn to pet sit for our mature, but healthy, pets, a dog and cat. I cannot say enough about the wonderful care they took of our animals; they were extremely caring and admirably practical in all respects. Knowing how anxious we were about leaving our dog, they kept us well-informed about his welfare.
We came home to a clean, tidy house and two contented pets. Our dog had continued to improve during our absence and neighbours told me how impressed they were by our sitters. I can thoroughly recommend Stevie and Vaughn as responsible, and caring house and pet sitters.

I cannot recommend Stevie highly enough as a house and petsitter! She came to stay and look after my flat and pup, Wolfie over a long weekend and was an absolute star. Great communication, left my flat in better condition than it was when I left, and we came home to a spotless house and happy contented pet

I returned to find my two quite demanding Siamese cats utterly contented, and my house looking sparkling, definitely a few degrees cleaner and tidier than when I left. I shall certainly invite her to come and house sit again, when the need arises. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone else who is looking for a reliable ...
