Sensible lady with 40 years experience of working gundogs, hill-walking, falconry and small-holding husbandry. Clean living, non-smoker, driver and cook. Very Reliable!
We now have regular housesits but are in a new location in Yorkshire and travel in our Motorhome, making us self-sufficient. We love new locations and new friends.
We have a GSP bitch- 7 years, neutered and friendly. She has accompanied us on all our housesits. Hope you will consider us for your needs.

Janis, Howard and their lovely dog Tess did a wonderful job looking after Charlie. He was walked when needed and enjoyed the company of Tess, I think the first day we were back Charlie was missing her. Janis and Howard are very friendly people, we were confident after our first conversation that Charlie would be happy and very well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and hope they will come back to look after Charlie another time.

Jan and Howard were so great at looking after the home and farm. They worked hard and cared so much for our animals both pets and on the farm. The house was left clean and tidied when we came home and the handover was smooth. We felt that everything was in good hands

Janis came over on 2 occasions before the sit so that our dogs could get to know her a little better and so she knew the ins and outs of our home. She was friendly, warm and an all round lovely lady. We met Janis' husband who was equally lovely. Janis arrived at our home with plenty of time before we left for the airport and once again put us at ease that we had picked the perfect person for the job at hand ( looking after 3 Jack Russell's is no easy task! ) Janis kept us well informed ... Janis looked after our home perfectly. Also our hens and geese and some watering in the greenhouse. She left the house beautifully clean and tidy. We have already asked her if she can come back again when we go away for a long weekend in April. We thoroughly recommend her.
