Belgian dog lover

I come from a family of dog lovers but due to work commitments never felt it right to have my own dog as an adult.
Now I'm retired I'd like to combine my love of dogs with my love of travelling in Great Britain.

I was born in Birmingham but have lived in Belgium since 1994.
I speak Dutch and French as 2nd and 3rd languages.
I prefer dogs but am prepared to care for any sort of domestic animal
after receiving the necessary dietary and general care advice.

I'm a non smoker, with own car (I prefer to travel by car in the UK)
and tend to walk dogs in my care 2 to 3 times daily so sometimes this is a challenge for the owners when they return!

Kevin is reliable with excellent communication so you know what’s planned. He arrived a day early for a handover and left the house immaculate the morning of our return. Kevin did have to clean up for sparkle occasionally since she is currently scared to go outside due to neighbouring cats. Sparkle and Winnie were healthy and happy on our return.

Kevin was absolutely famtastic. He arrived a day early and we all got on very well and we were able to show him our dog's local walks. He was very good with our dog and cat, took the dog out every day and both were very relaxed and happy when we got home. We had regular updates and photos of their daily adventures. Couldn't recommend highly enough and we hope he agrees to come back.

Kevin was very steady and reliable. Our dogs bonded, Thomas more than Chris, and no pining. We received regular photos and reports. Lovely guy.

We've never been away this long and it was not without its apprehensions, however, Kevin made our travels possible for which we will always be very grateful. The Sit was extremely challenging until Kevin got into a good routine as the 2 Pyrenean pups (growing rapidly) were destructive and opportunist. Kevin was very responsive, we mainly communicated via email. He graciously agreed to arrive earlier and turned up bang on time. I came home to a clean and neat house with two cats alive and well! Perfect!

Kevin came to cat sit for us for a short stay over Christmas. The cats were well looked after and the house was lovely and tidy when we got home. Thanks so much Kevin, we hope you had a safe drive home.

I can highly recommend Kevin as a reliable house sitter. He looked after our house, cat and plants for ten days. He was quick to respond to any messages and was very accommodating and flexible on the house sitting arrangements. The house was nice and tidy on our return and the cat looked well-fed and watered. Thank you Kevin for making our holiday that bit more relaxing.

Kevin was wonderful. He took on two dogs and two cats who adored him. One dog can be very needy and disobedient and he coped brilliantly. The house and garden were immaculate on our return and I could not recommend him more highly.

This was our first house sitting experience. Kevin looked after our 2 large dogs and guinea pigs. One of the dogs is a very large, young and bouncy lurcher but Kevin coped with all of his foibles! Our very elderly lady lurcher took the opportunity of us being away to go on walking strike. But all was fine.

No rating We very much enjoyed meeting Kevin and had every confidence in his ability to look after our house and animals. He is very personable and considerate. The dogs had 2 good walks a day, the chickens and rabbit were well looked after and the house was very tidy when we came home. All in all a very happy housesit for both parties!
ORIEL (Little Hallingbury England, Dec 2018 - 2 weeks 5 days)
No rating Kevin looked after Lily, our 5-year old sheltie dog, and two guinea pigs for 3 weeks in August. We didn't hear much about how they were all getting on whilst we were away but on our return it was clear that they had all been well cared for and exercised. Our neighbour said that she'd heard Kevin chatting with the guineas on the lawn outside which made us smile :) Many thanks, Kevin.

No rating We had Kevin house sit for us for 10 days and look after our 2 dogs as well as our 13 chickens and ducks. Kevin came one day earlier which was reassuring and we had time to show him everything. Our dogs were very well looked after. He had no problem with handling our Dobermann girl who can be a bit challenging with other dogs. He was always quick to respond to our messages and we were very grateful for the updates.
