Hello my name is Judith. I am a fit and healthy 77 year old having retired eventually during COVID after 50 years of working in advertising and media in London and here in the Cotswolds; and latterly for the NHS. I live with my retired husband who needs to stay at home to look after Lucy our rescue cat, who as you can see on the pic does not suffer from stress at all. Apparently “we live to serve!”.
I have had experience of house sitting for friends who owned a holiday complex in Devon; looking after the whole complex including swimming pool etc and carrying out some 15 or so change-overs. We also ran a very successful bed and breakfast from our then home, a Georgian house, which came to an abrupt end as a result of the disruption of the banking crisis.

From early years there have always been pets around at home when my parents kept hens, a couple of dogs and a cat, and later on with our own family there was Biffo and Crackers the cats, the usual gerbil, and a small Dutch rabbit. After moving to the Cotswolds we then had enough room for our lovely retriever, the 2 cats, Bun the large white lop-eared rabbit, guinea pigs who ‘over produced’, 2 lovely White Campbell ducks, and a goat called Sybil, followed by a trio family of cats.

Now in a smaller setting, I look forward to being able to look after someone elsie’s house, pets while getting away to new, or maybe not so new places. I am also working on a project which would benefit from being elsewhere away from home on occasion.

I am a non-smoker and fully vaccinated, and love new places, walking etc. I don’t have a car any more having had my car scrapped recently after an accident (not my fault at all), but don’t mind public transport. However there would often be the possibility of bringing my husband’s car as there is good public transport locally here.
